Freedom not Democracy!

Prophet Ezra Taft Benson – A Warning We Ignored! Its time to wake up and realize what we have allowed to happen to our freedom. 2 Nephi 28:21 “And others will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, that they will say: All is well in Zion; yea, Zion prospereth, all is well—and thus the devil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell.”

In the April 2008 Priesthood Session, President Monson mentioned political machinations. Not knowing what that meant I looked up the word and was stunned as I read the definition. This videos was inspired to help wake up my fellow LDS members to the dangers we face in America as seen over 40 years ago by President Ezra Taft Benson. It is time for all of us to get our homes in order in preparation of the approaching PORTENT storm that Pres.Hinckley warned us about in 1998.

A Message of Warning and Hope from Ezra Taft Benson

We are fast approaching that moment prophesied by Joseph Smith when he said:

Even this Nation will be on the very verge of crumbling to pieces and tumbling to the ground and when the constitution is upon the brink of ruin this people will be the Staff up[on] which the Nation shall lean and they shall bear the constitution away from the very verge of destruction.

George Washington stated, “Truth will ultimately prevail where there are pains taken to bring it to light.” To bring the truth to light is our challenge — this day and everyday.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)

To Moses God said: “….proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” (Lev. 25:10)

Why? For God knows full well that the gospel — His plan for the blessing of His children can prosper only in an atmosphere of freedom.

To modern men God has said: the Constitution “should be maintained for the rights and protection of all flesh.” (Doctrine and Covenants 101:77)

I feel it is always good strategy to stand up for the right, even when it is unpopular. Perhaps I should say, ESPECIALLY when it is unpopular.

If we desire to be numbered among those who will, here are some things we must do:
1. We must be righteous and moral…
2. We must learn the principles of the Constitution and then abide by its precepts…
3. We must become involved in civic affairs…
4. We must make our influence felt by our vote, our letters, and our advice…

To the patriots I say this: Take that long eternal look. Stand up for freedom no matter what the cost. It can help to save your soul — and maybe your country.

If you love Freedom and are concerned about America.
There is a Solution. Its not political and its not economic.
The solution is spiritual. We invite the viewer to consider the truth within.

On 10 December 1974, Elder Ezra Taft Benson (then President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS)) addressed the Brigham Young University students during a devotional wherein he spoke to them about many of the gift we have received from the Lord Jesus Christ. The fifth gift listed in his talk was Christ’s gift of the U.S. Constitution. Elder Benson quotes President Kimball’s opening words to his dedicatory prayer of the Washington D.C. Temple. In turn President Kimball quotes the Prophet Joseph Smith’s prophesy concerning the U.S. Constitution’s peril of near destruction and the mission the members of the LDS Church must fulfill to save this inspired document.

Ezra Taft Benson, former Secretary of Agriculture, in 1986 shares thoughts on the U.S. Constitution, stating it is a Heavenly Banner inspired by God for this nation. That the federal government is trying to destroy it but at last it will be shaved but not in Washington.

“Besides the preaching of the Gospel, we have another mission, namely, the perpetuation of the free agency of man and maintenance of liberty, freedom and the rights of man.” (John Taylor, Journal of Discourses 23:63)

“As we have progressed the mist has been removed, and in relation to these matters, the Elders of Israel begin to understand that they have something to do with the world politically as well as religiously, that it is as much their duty to study correct political principles as well as religious, and to seek to know and comprehend the social and political interests of man, and to learn and be able to teach that which would be best calculated to promote the interests of the world.” (JD 9:340)

I am only one, but I am one.
I cant do everything, but I can do something.
What I can do, that I ought to do,
And what I ought to do,
By the grace of God, I shall do!

We are at a critical time in American’s history.. We as citizens have the responsibility to stand up for the principles of freedom that made our country great. This is inspired by the book, “The 5000 Year Leap” written by Cleon Skousen.

I do not want to instill fear in people that might watch it, but rather HOPE! I would encourage and support everyone to pass this along to their friends and email lists… ENJOY and I hope the Spirit will convey to you the truthfulness of this timely message that we need to hear and help others to hear as well… If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear..

This video is mainly for an LDS audience, since it contains quotes from past and present church leaders. All of these quotes supports the platform of Ron Paul and his desire to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Hopefully this video will give those who watch it a small glimpse and a taste to what is in store for the righteous on the earth. For a couple of years I have yearned to hear in General Conference, a talk that would help instruct, inspire and lift us as a people to build Zion. Last October, I was extremely happy to hear the talks of Elder Christopherson and President Eyring. In this video I hope to share the parts that really impressed upon me from their words. In creating this video, I have felt and seen just a taste of what awaits those chosen humble followers of Christ. I yearn for Zion and strive to become worthy of living there. Please watch this video, share it with friends, family and ward members. The images, text have some very symbolic meanings for me. Hopefully the Spirit will bear witness to each of you who watch it, and motivate you to live your life in such a way to become Zion individual.

Elder Dallin H. Oaks , an apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said the United States Constitution is a singular document whose fundamental principles must be understood, valued and protected.

Elder Oaks made the remarks 17 September 2010 in his keynote address at the Constitution Day Celebration held in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. The event was presented by the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics and America’s Freedom Alliance.

For the past couple of weeks I have felt the need to create another youtube video. When these promptings come, it is difficult for me to focus on anything else until the video is complete. Well it is finally done. I share this with the hope that is might touch another person’s life whether you are LDS or not and give them the inspiration and motivation to prepare a little harder for the “great and dreadful day of the Lord”. which I feel is closer than we realize. Please share this with anyone that you would benefit from watching it. I would love to hear people’s thoughts and feelings after they watch it.

We are the chosen generation who needs to prepare for the second Coming of the Savior. We are on a mission to prove whether or not we will persevere in a world ripening in iniquity. We are among the elect whom the Lord has called during this “eleventh hour” to labor in His vineyard, a vineyard that has become corrupted every whit” and which only a few “doeth good”. We are those few.. (excerpts for Sheri Dew)

People of all faiths, LDS, Protestants, Baptists, good men and women all over the world are preparing to meet Christ. I personally look forward to the day.
